During this first week of training camp we’ve learned a lot. A lot about who we are in Christ, the Holy Spirit’s power, and the tangible ways we can put that into practice. The community here is very diverse in both what we believe and just our personalities and honestly I love it. I love the passion and joy everyone here has and the overflowing love they have for Christ. It really encourages me to be more open and willing to God and give him all I have to offer. Before I tell y’all what’s been happening I wanna say that the church I grew up in never really discussed about the true power of the Holy Spirit within us.

Since being here, I’ve really been able to see a glimpse of the power of the Holy Spirit. For example, last Tuesday one of my teammates mentioned pain in her ankle to a couple of our team leaders. Then, as a squad we decided to trust that God would heal her ankle. So we prayed for her and just like that the pain left and the swelling went down! After that, someone else told us she has had pain in her back for 8 years. Again, we prayed and trusted in God that he would heal her. Guess what?! She was healed!! “Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.“ Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 NLT

Then it was my turn, I have been healing from ACL surgery these past couple months. So my team prayed over me and I still had pain in my knee. Then they prayed again and again and the pain and tightness was still there. I’m not gonna lie, at first this was discouraging. Then, God reminded me that it’s not in my timing, it’s his timing and even though He didn’t heal me then in there, He will heal me. “So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.” 1 Peter 5:6

Lastly, I would like to encourage y’all to pray for me and my team and we train to go out to spread the gospel to the nations. Also, I would love if y’all would consider praying to join my financial support. “Yes I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing..” John 15:5
